Riverside Community Church is committed to provide a musical program that glorifies Jesus Christ and enriches the lives and strengthens the faith of all who attend. We work to insure that all music is theologically, poetically and musically compelling.
What we offer:
Chancel Choir
The choir is open to anyone who can sing on pitch and make a commitment to rehearse on a regular basis and provide a weekly music ministry at Sunday services and special events. We use a variety of musical styles with emphasis on lyrical content and musical quality. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7-8:30 p.m.
Riverside Ringers
The four octave handbell and three-and-a-half octave hand chime choir rehearses weekly and plays during periodic Sunday services. A music background is encouraged but not mandatory. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6-7 p.m.
Music & Fine Arts Series
We offer bi-annual concerts featuring guest artists in an entertainment/educational format. A variety of artists including vocal, instrumental and drama have been part of the concert series. The programs are free and open to the public. They are supported by sponsorships and free-will offerings.
Added Opportunities
This includes vocal and/or instrumental soloists and small groups to enrich and enhance the worship at Riverside.
